Hatter La China Loca and author doriana will celebrate the early release of doriana's debut book, this life, and La China's fall line of hats, particularly cocktail hats, and the full launch of her website at the Slipper Room at 167 Orchard Street on Wednesday October 10th. The evening will feature performances from some of the city's most intriguing avant-garde performers, including Kiery of Jzabehl, Mistress B, Bunny Nose Best, and others, as well as doriana spinning some of her favorite tunes with friends. The party begins at 10:30 pm with a $5 cover at the door with flyer/MySpace printout, $8 without the flyer. Copies of this life will be on sale at the event before it is available in stores. All performers will be wearing one of La China's handcrafted designs.
